A fairytale garden with the huge oak tree or “pournara” (big kermes oak) as it is called by the local, and any kind of herbs and flowering plants, welcome the visitor of the church of Agia Paraskevi in Agoriani.
Just a little further from the church there is a headland with a fountain. From this point, one can view the village and the seven hills on which the houses are build, and from where its name Eptalofos came from.
It is also rumored that when our great litterateur, Angelos Sikelianos visited Agoriani, he used to gaze from this point to the flatland of Gravia for hours and created his masterpieces.
