We meet the impressive gulf-cave Eptastomo at the western Parnassus near Kalania at an altitude of 1.300 m. In the cave with the seven orifices, the snow never melts as the temperature inside it does not exceed 0° C.
The descent to the gulf-cave is very dangerous and it can only be done by well trained people or speleologists. Whoever manages to descent will have the luck to admire, wonderful waterfalls, stalactites and stalagmites from ice, as well as a little lake with crystal clear water.
Yet, what really makes you blood run cold is not the real cold, but the eerie sound that you can hear inside the gulf-cave which is nothing more than a game of the wind as it goes through the 7 orifices.
