A green paradise is sprawled at the south part of Tithorea, at an area of 2.000 hectares and it is one of the 19 aesthetic forests in Greece.
Huge firs, pine trees, oak trees, cedar trees, bushes and many other types of plants compose a land beyond comparison. The altitude of the forest ranges from 500 m. to 1.200 m. and due to its geomorphologic formations such as the sheer rocks, caves and paths it attracts nature lovers, hikers and climbers.
Inside the forest there is a Tower and ruins from the ancient wall which dates back to the 3rd – 4th century B.C. In 1979 the forest was declared as aesthetic and it is included in the Natura 2000 Network.
