The building in Gravia which was made of brick and was used as an inn for the travelers passing through the area to spend the night was to stay forever in history.
On the 8th of May 1821 Odysseas Androutsos with approximately 120 combatants sheltered into the inn and managed to fight back the heavy attack of the Turkish troops of Omer Vrioni, raising the moral of the rebellious Greeks and writing heroic moments in the pages of history.
Unfortunately the historical building collapsed and thus a true replica was reconstructed and opened in 1999, including all the areas that the original inn used to have, in order to show to the visitor the image of the era.
In the building, the Museum is also housed, where projections with the reenactment of the battle are played every one hour.
Every year, festival remembering is carried out.
